Axe throwing is often compared to throwing darts, but instead of darts, you throw weighted axes at a wooden target. Players stand about 12 feet away from the target and use proper technique to get the axe to "stick" to the targeted rings.

The AROZS AXE-PERIENCE
If you're ready to start axe throwing in Boyertown, PA, there are a few things you need to know about our procedure and facility.
Step 1: Check In & Get Coached
Upon arrival, our staff will check you in and ask you to sign a safety waiver via QR code. Once that's done, you'll receive your axes and assigned lane.
Before you begin throwing axes, one of our coaches will tell you about the facility and some safety guidelines.
Step 2: Practice Your Throw
During the first 10-15 minutes of your session, you'll receive instruction from an AROZS axe throwing coach. You'll learn proper technique and WATL scoring basics. Then your instructor will step back and let you practice. Periodically, your coach will stop by to offer pointers.
With our attentive coaching, you'll stick your first axe before you know it.
Step 3: Play Games & Compete
After you've gotten the swing of things, it's time to keep score. Our coaches can also teach you fun axe throwing games like "Around the World," "21," and more. We love teaching different ways to make axe throwing more interesting.

The League is a friendly group of axe-loving enthusiasts and competitors who get together once a week to up their skill level and aim for tournament prizes and an illustrious title. Each League season runs for 8 weeks.
Here’s what you need to know:
When & Where: Every Thursday night at AROZS
Time: 7:00 PM
Season Length: 8 weeks
Format: World Axe Throwing League (WATL) scoring and competition
Skill Level: Beginners welcome
Cost: $150 (includes equipment, coaching, and tournament)
What To Expect
Our Thursday Night League is designed for both new and seasoned axe throwers. During the first few weeks of any League season, members receive coaching to refine their axe throwing skills, learn WATL scoring rules, and become familiar with competitive play.
If you’re looking for a place to build confidence, this is it!
Weeks 3-7 focus on competition rounds, where you go head-to-head with other league members to gain points and climb the leaderboard. Get as many points as you can.
At the end of the season, the top competitors throw for prizes and bragging rights in the championship tournament. Prizes include AROZS and League merchandise, gift cards, and trophies.

Walk-In Axe Throwing Session
60 Minutes: $35 per person (includes equipment, coaching, and lane time)
90 Minutes: $45 per person (includes equipment, coaching, and lane time)
Party & Group Axe Throwing Packages
Birthday Party Package: $25 per person (includes 75 minutes of axe throwing, coaching, equipment, and a reserved lane for up to 8 people)
Bachelor or Bachelorette Party Package: $25 per person (includes 75 minutes of axe throwing, coaching, equipment, party setup, and lanes reserved for up to 12 people)

Is axe throwing safe?
Yes, axe throwing is very safe. The key is following the safety protocols, such as using proper throwing technique, being mindful of other guests, and wearing close-toe shoes. No flip-flops or sandals allowed when throwing!
Do I need axe throwing experience?
No, experience isn't required to enjoy axe throwing. Many of our customers are first-timers. Our coaches will teach you everything you need to know.
Is axe throwing difficult?
Most customers can stick their axe into the target within a few tries. Axe throwing is all about form and patience. We can teach you the form and give you tips to increase accuracy.
What should I wear for axe throwing?
Clothes that you can easily move in. Limit anything that can interfere with your throw, like loose sleeves or long necklaces. Avoid open-toe shoes like sandals. Our coaches may point out items that could affect your swing.
Can I bring my own axe to AROZS?
For safety and insurance reasons, AROZS will provide you with the proper equipment for axe throwing. The same applies to our Thursday Night Axe Throwing League.
How many people can throw in a single lane at once?
A single axe throwing lane can comfortably accomodate up to 6 people. For parties larger than 6 guests, we will open another lane for you.
Does AROZS serve alcohol and food?
We are a BYOB establishment. Guests who are 21+ can bring their own beer, wine, or other alcoholic beverages. We can provide coolers and cups. You may also bring your own food.
Can kids participate in axe throwing?
Yes, kids 10 years and older are welcome to participate under adult supervision. We have lighter hatchets available for our young guests.
How do I join the Thursday Night League?
Registration for League opens up a few weeks before the start of a new season. Spots fill quickly, so we ask that interested parties give us a call to sign up. You can also inquire in-person.
